Les Tours de Beaumont Haut-Medoc 2018

Aromas of dried fruits, tobacco, earthiness, give way to fresh black fruits, with nutmeg, and subtle mocha/vanilla notes.  Pleasingly grippy finish; very long.   

This is a second wine of the very popular Ch. Beaumont, one of the larger and more prestigious properties in Médoc, located between Margaux and St. Julien. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot. 

Food match: Superb with savoury meat/vegetable dishes, such as roast beef or lamb.
